David Arthur Garcia (born January 18, 1983) is an American record producer and songwriter. He has received four Grammy Awards, and has won nine GMA Dove Awards, for his songwriting and record production. He was honored with the ASCAP Christian songwriter on the year award, in 2015. He co-wrote and produced the smash hit single "Meant to Be" with Bebe Rexha featuring Florida Georgia Line, and co-produced "Let You Down" by NF.

  • David Garcia is active-duty Air Force currently serving in Okinawa, Japan. Originally, he is from Florida but grew up a “military brat” as his father was in the Air Force as well. Okinawa is where he calls home due to most of his main childhood years were spent growing up on the island and is where he enlisted from. In the Air Force, David works as the Flight Chief of Mental Health Services and has a passion for helping those in need. Throughout the military he has been stationed in Maryland, Korea twice, Germany, and had one deployment in between.

    With growing up in Okinawa, and aspirations to retire here, David is pursuing his degree in East Asian Studies. Most of his time outside of work is spent exploring the world, scuba diving in the beautiful waters surrounding the island, and hanging out with his French Bulldog Stitch. Being a member of the Student Advisory Council allows him to be a voice for fellow students around the globe in pursuits of a better future through our educational experiences.

    David Garcia is a multi-platinum selling, four time Grammy Award-winning Record Producer and Songwriter. 

    Over the past decade he has achieved chart topping success across multiple genres of music with over 20 number one songs to his credit.

    Moving to Nashville in 2010, he found early success with many of Contemporary Christian Music’s elite, producing and co-writing many of the genre’s top performing songs year in and year out. He has twice  been named ASCAP’s “Christian Songwriter of The Year”, written three of ASCAP’s Christian “Song of The Year” and to date has received nine Dove Awards. 

    In 2016, Garcia had his first country radio number one with Kip Moore, producing and co-writing Moore’s “More Girls Like You”.

    Garcia followed in 2017 by producing and co-writing four songs on alternative rapper NF’s platinum selling album, “Perception”.

    Credited again as a producer and songwriter, the BeBe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line collaboration “Meant to Be” became 2018’s longest charting number one song in Billboard Country Music Chart history. Reigning at the top spot for 50 weeks, it shattered all of Billboard’s previous records for a multi-week number one on the “Hot Country” songs chart. It has since sold over 10,000,000 copies and earned a Diamond certification from the RIAA. 

    That same year Garcia would collaborate with country music royalty, Carrie Underwood.  He co-produced the album “Cry Pretty” with Underwood, co-writing six of the album’s songs including the smash hit “Southbound”. It would become Underwood’s sixth platinum selling LP.

    Awards in Country music were soon to follow, with Garcia receiving the  “Spotify Secret Genius Award” for the country music in 2018, and a ACM Award for “Music Event of The Decade” in 2019.

    In 2020, Garcia co-wrote Kenny Chesney’s latest number one country radio single “Here and Now” while also having songs recorded by Carrie Underwood, Hardy, Florida

    David García Zubiria (born 14 February 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Qatar Stars League club Al-Rayyan and the Spain national team.

    He all but spent his entire career contracted to Osasuna, making 305 appearances and winning the Segunda División in 2019.

    Born in Pamplona, Navarre, García finished joined CA Osasuna's youth setup in 2003, aged nine. He made his senior debut in 2011–12 season with the reserves in the Segunda División B, but appeared more regularly for the Juvenil side.

    García was called up to the main squad for the 2014 preseason by manager Jan Urban, and scored the last goal of a 4–0 win against Brentford. He played his first match as a professional on 30 August, starting in the 1–1 Segunda División away draw with Real Zaragoza.

    On 26 January 2015, García agreed to an extension with the club running until 2019. He scored his first goal in the second tier on 31 May, closing the 2–0 home victory over Recreativo de Huelv
