World Wrestling Entertainment(doing business as WWE, Inc.) (WWE) is an Americanpublicly traded, privately controlled entertainment company dealing primarily in professional wrestling, with major revenue sources also coming from film, music, product licensing, and direct product sales. It is currently the largest professional wrestling companyin the world, reaching 13 million viewers in the U.S. and broadcasting its shows in 30 languages to more than 145 countries.

WWE holds an extensive library of videos, representing a significant portion of the visual history of professional wrestling. The company began as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation in 1952, which promoted under the banner of the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and later the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). In 1982 it was sold to the same family's Titan Sports company, which later changed its name to World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, before finally becoming World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002.

Wellness Program

The Talent Wellness Program is a comprehensive drug, alcohol, and cardiac screening program initiated in February 2006, shortly after the sudden death of one of their highest profile talents, 38 year-old Eddie Guerrero. The policy tests for recreational drug use and abuse of prescription medication, including anabolic steroids. Under the guidelines of the policy, talent is also tested annually for pre-existing or developing cardiac issues. The drug testing is handled by Aegis Sciences Corporation. The cardiac evaluations are handled by New York Cardiology Associates P.C.

    Booker T. Huffman Jr. (born March 1, 1965 in Houston, Texas), better known by his ring nameBooker T, is an American retired professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, working on their NXTbrand as a commentator and also founded and owns his wrestling promotion, Reality Of Wrestling. Aside from WWE, he is also known for wrestling for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1993-2001 and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2007-2009.

    Booker T has held many championships in his career. He most famously is a six-time world champion (five-time WCW Champion and one time WWE World Heavyweight Champion), an 18-time tag team champion (13 times teaming with his brother Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat), a six-time WCW Television Champion, a four-time United States champion, and the winner of the 2006 King of the Ring. In January 2011 he returned to WWE as a surprise entrant during the Royal Rumble. He is one of seven men to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame two times.
